During the Covid years, the world changed dramatically, and youth worldwide didn’t have tools to cope with a world they never had to navigate.
How would they compensate for social gatherings, in-person interactions that now had to be online, and a new way of looking at life?
The YWGLN provided a virtual space for young women, 12 – 24 years to gather twice a month to develop their leadership training and have a space to land together. Young women worldwide came together, received training from mentors across the world, they were able to develop friendships in the group and have a safe space to discuss what was on their hearts. It was beautiful seeing the girls come together and share their lived experiences and differences cultures, learning from each other. With no barriers, borders and societal influences, we are all one!
